October 5th 2014 was an amazing day.
Justin and I were able to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary by watching our oldest get baptized. What an amazing way to celebrate our marriage!
We have been so proud of Sage as she has learned and decided to follow Christ by being baptized as he was. She couldn't have been more thrilled!
We had debated whether she should be baptized in Colorado in our ward and near friends or in Utah near family and friends.
In the end she decided she wanted her cousins there! But not only her cousins there but to have a double baptism with her cousin Charlotte, just two weeks her younger!
The program was awesome and spiritual and touching! But it was the love that we were surrounded with that really touched me! We had most of my family there, great friends, and even Sage's Primary teacher drove all the way from Colorado just so she wouldn't miss it! Now that's going above and beyond!
The gospel of Jesus Christ brings so much joy and strength to our lives. I'm so happy that Sage has chosen to be a part of this gospel and that the gift and companionship of the Holy Ghost will be a directing force in her life. She has such a strong moral compass and a gift of compassion and care I know all those in her life will be touched by her huge, loving heart!
And as a parting gift here are some of the baptism photos I took of Sage for her special day!
