Let us first pay our respects to the BEST juice bar I have ever experienced in my life.
What a crappy day when I showed up and saw this. Juice Stop was one of the places I as SO looking forward to moving back to! Luckily I got to enjoy it a few times before this horrible news.... :(
4th of July was a bitter sweet day. I honestly think it will be one of the days I miss living in Massachusetts the most. Needham was the oldest town in the United States and they had such a fun and festive celebration with such a quaint small town community feel. Nothing quite compares.
But it was fun to spend time here in Colorado with friends and great fireworks too.
July started with another trip to the Doctors office for a split chin.
This is the THIRD time Cadence has split open her chin. Yes, three times my friends. And even after this visit to the Doctor, the lame glue didn't hold it closed and I had to crudely fix it myself (with the help of my two nurse sisters thank goodness). Ours held together way better!
And who can ignore the best day of the year? 7-11!!
Seriously why are slurpees so good!? And yes they are different than Icee's and Slushee's and all the other sort of imitators. There is nothing quite like a slurpee!
I continued to enjoy each and every run on the trails here in Colorado
And I started to realize that my little baby is growing up way too fast.
I really am trying to enjoy every single moment (yes even despite her sassy attitude and difficult moods at times). She is just most often the funniest, happiest, most joyful little girl! I just want her to stay this way forever!!!!
I was so happy that two of my sisters decided to make the drive across the Rockies to come and spend a few days with us! This is one of the reasons we wanted to come back to Colorado; so that seeing our family could be way more convenient!
The kids had a fun time as we went on excursion after excursion after excursion.
Of course we had to show off our favorite zoo!
I love seeing what a kick the kids get out of feeding the giraffes!
And I mean look at this view from the elephant exhibit!
It was a perfect Colorado day! The scattered showers kept the temperatures down and stopped just when we were ready to move on to the next exibit!
Poor baby Kayson is missing from every picture! :( We still love you!
Man running around a MOUNTAIN zoo sure takes it out of you!
We had to also hit the butterfly pavilion
Sage and Nouvelle were immediately ready to hold Rosie the Terantula
Cadence however took some more proding
It was a good time!
That Kayson is still missing? Where is that boy?
Oh there he is!
Then we hit up Hammond's Candy Factory!
I thought it was pretty cool! But half of the entertainment was watching Nouvelle and Bronson entertain each other!
Well and also watching Nouvelle eat her giant lollipop was pretty entertaining as well. I love her tenancity!
What fun to be with sisters and cousins! I was so touched that they would make the trip to come and see us! If only I could convince them to move here!
Friends came into town, which was a SUPER treat! I was as happy about it as Nouvelle looks!
More visits from family made the girls completely eccstatic! Though it was too short! You need to come back soon!
Of course swimming and MORE swimming continued...
Justin and I punished ourselves at the track in the blazing heat, but at least it wasn't HUMID heat!
And of course in between all these fun excursion and visit we had project after project after project.
Making our house ours.
