This trip keeps going on and on doesn't it? Well, it was fun full four weeks! But this is the end of it I swear.
It has been many many years since I have seen my dear friend Kelly. Thank goodness we were able to have some time to get together. It was wonderful to meet his family and to just talk the day away!
We made a quick visit to Temple Square and the new City Creek Mall.
The kids were infatuated with everything there: the "princesses" getting married, the fountains and water, the flowers, the shops - everything! Man I wish we had planned more time for this but we had some other important places to be! Namely to meet...
these wonderful people!
I was hoping a few friends from my mission would make it as well, but as it turns out no one did so I got Pres and Soeur Hart all to myself!! We ate waffles at Bruges and then after Justing came back from dropping the kids off at a babysitters, we stayed up visiting with the Harts for many wonderful hours. It is always a pure honor to share in their time and feel of their love. They are the most amazing people, and I look up to them in a huge way! We love the Harts!!
We hit a splash park before leaving. My kids have never been huge fans of these but it was nice for them none-the-less on such a warm day.
And as our trip came to close I was forced to say goodbye (Rather see you later) to these awesome friends
and stayed up late being ridiculous with this friend (which is what we do best!)
And then we found ourselves flying back to Boston :(
And though I'm not quite as down in the dumps as I was after I returned from this trip last year, I still feel a bit of emptiness and loneliness inside. Being in Utah has it's "challenges" but it is also the place where I am completely surrounded by the people who not only know me best but love me the most (yes of course besides Jusin and the girls). It is awesome to be constantly and daily surrounded by people who care as deeply and sincerely about you as you do them. We miss you family and friends in Utah. Seriously who's coming to visit me first! :)
